AHHH, I drove DV8R to Randy's yesterday. I'm leaving her with him until the new motor is in. At 92 miles, it was the farthest trip I've taken in her since the head gasket blew. The cruise control module and linkage is gone, so no cruise control for now. With multiple misfires (7 TC's) it still managed to get 22.5 - 23 mpg. That's almost entirely all highway driving between 65 - 70 mph. It was raining the whole time, and she wouldn't kick down to passing gear up these long Ozark's hills. Consequently, it felt like it could just die at any given moment. I always hate making the trip to Randy's in an Aurora because without fail - I'm having car troubles and it's always raining. It's the same trip that blew the HG a few months ago. Well this time I made it! She's in good hands now - just waiting on a heart transplant It looked like old times! There was a silver classic parked behind the blue one - I couldn't get them all in one picture without getting very muddy.
