Today I took my Rora to the Bradenton Motorsports 1/4 mile track, FL. Test-n- tune! And I got myself a new personal best of 14.17 @ 96.94mph with a 2.13 60ft. The best 60ft I ever got with her so far, but damn I need better tires. If I get a 2.0 or 1.9 60ft, 13's is in the bag for sure!!. Today was packed and the crappy thing was they didn't have the time clock on for anyone's run, which pissed me off b.c I was hoping to post a vid. But whatever.
A few weeks back I ran a best of 14.26 @ 99mph, so this was a great improvement and even unexpected, b.c it was hot a humid outside....it was all due to my ported throttle body, yep for sure, haha just kidding...
I only got 2 runs today which sucked, b.c it was packed and cars kept breaking down and causing the track to constantly be cleaned. I got there at 11, got 2 runs by 2pm, sad!!! but after my 14.17 I wouldn't have ran her again anyways. I think I just need better tires to do any better now, or wait for the Northstar Performance tune atleast!
I ran a new Ford Taurus SHO that got a 12.65....talk about getting annihilated.

Thanks! I avoid the water puddle. I found that keeping the car powerbraked at 1000rpm works best and I do a quick feather of the throttle. I get sone spin, but ive been racing a long time. So more and more practice I get a good feel for my car and can gauge how to feather the throttle to get the least amount of tire spin. It helps that the torque doesn't kick in right away either.
