Have a nice 97 Autobahn that I have decided to fix up and update. 97% of 140K miles with Driver only. Am 225 and the cushion is no longer firm. Rode in passenger seat recently for a mile and significantly firmer. Are the bottom cushions interchangeable? Anyone know of cushion replacement available?

Hmm... I kinda remember a thread from a few months back that indicated the driver and passenger seats on the Classics were interchangeable. If this is true, just swap the seats...
But, being a 2G guy, no first hand knowledge. Sorry.

You can swap seats, the only problem is the cloth loop that is sewn to the side for the seat belt clip will be on the wrong side. It'd be easier to unbolt the four bolts on the bottom of the seat and swap the entire seat rather than take apart the seat and remove the cushion. You'll have to unbolt the seats either way. You don't have to remove the track you can unbolt the seat from it. You could probably have it done in 15-20 mins if that.
I don't think there is a new replacement. Alternatively you could go to an upholsterer and have them put in some new foam.

I would like to find a good lightly used passenger seat graphite colored to try this on my 95 model. That way I would not have to mess around with the existing pass. seat. That color is hard to find.
