Greetings my first my post here have gold tan 2001 and love it. I want a 2nd Aurora, I have always liked the G plantform cars.
Anyway odd problem I have with mine is the door locks will try to unlock all the time, the car will just sit there and randomly unlock the doors over and over again. So much so it draws down the battery after a few days. The problem only seems to happen when it’s warm outside like above 50 degrees. It does even while driving or parked with no one touching it. There is no fuse labeled power locks to pull and I tired stuffing a ink pen by the shifting to keep it off that sensor and also tired to unplug both front buttons still no luck.

Well first, welcome! Glad you're here...
As for your door lock issue, EVERYTHING runs through the Drivwr's Door Module. I'm fairly sure that pulling the DDM fuse (#7 under the rear seat) will stop it, but you will lose central locking/unlocking (local and remote), memory seat and mirror functions, as well as power windows.
It could be a bad DDM, but my guess would be a short circuit somewhere in the wiring.

Tigger, Thanks for getting back to me. When I first got the car the oil pressure gauge on on the fritz, turned out the sensor was fine but rather the wiring to sensor was bad, the tech that repaired it said he fixed all the suspect wires and should be good to go (sensor works fine now). I guess something chewed it he said. I sadly don't know were that was or if it's connected to the DDM. Were would your be your best guess to start looking for a short in the wiring like in the door loom or something under the car or under the dash? Is the DDM a little box inside the door or is it the part with the switches and stuff? Thanks!

I didn't have control over the 3 passenger doors and I had assumed I had a bad ddm. Turns out I had a bigger issue underneath the driver seat. It was a connector that links all four doors together underneath the carpet. I pulled the entire interior and replaced the carpet because it was soaked in water... Problem resolved.

BigSky, yes, the Driver's Door Module (DDM) is a plastic box inside the door.
I'd check the wiring directly connected to the power lock switches to DDM (driver and passenger side) first...

how is that held in place. Is it the 2 screws on the inside of the door? Or am I confusing it with something else?

Okay, my bad, lol! There are 2 power door lock switches, one on the driver's door handle trim bezel and the other on the front passenger's door handle trim bezel. Either can lock/unlock all doors. The switch clips into the back of the bezel...

is that why I'm getting the rear passenger door error?

What error message are you getting? Door ajar? If so, that's more likely to be a lock actuator, lock, or linkage issue.

I'm getting "rear pass door ajar", but the door is in fact closed and locked.

Sounds like the door ajar switch is bad. And IIRC, that switch is part of the door lock actuator.

I had a similar issue. My friend that I bought my aurora from said the locks randomly lock and unlock and warned me to keep a spare set just in case. I only noticed it a couple of times myself, but installing a new driver window motor regulator that wouldn't work out of the box, and then another one that did the same thing even with +12v -12v when hitting the switch I finally realized it wasn't holding a load when everything was actually plugged in.
Turns put the power and ground wires in my door boot were pretty much separated completely (yet still attached just enough) had been shorting out for a while. Yikes. I rewired new power and grounds and now all of my windows work, no auto locks flickering and a healthier sounding startup.

I tore apart my door replaced the driver door module, and wiggled all the wires no issues there. The problem is still there any more ideals? Again it’s just random unlocking of the doors all the doors at once will try to unlock a few times stop for a bit then start unlocking again never locks the door just unlock.

Hmm, wonder if it has anything to do with the shift lever...
Does it lock when you take it out of park and unlock when you put it back in park?

Ya that part is working, I was looking in the owners manual and it appears you can turn that auto locking on and off via the dic. Would there be something to try to turn off all that? Would there be a problem with the RIM?

Highly doubt it's the RIM. It is connected to the DDM, but only to control the fuel door and trunk release functions.
And since the auto lock/unlock with shifter movement works as it should, I don't think disabling that feature will fix your issue either. But you could give it a try, who knows right, lol?
I'm thinking bad switch or short somewhere...
