2001 Aurora 4.0L, dark green Numerous Rovers!
I have adjusted the sun roof and can't see any water in the channel when opened. I poured not water, but Purple Power degreaser down the driver side: it came out readily by the front wheel. I can blow through the pax side drain, but PP does not pool, but does not drain out. I cannot locate the evaporator drain ...is it on the outside firewall, or do i need to remove the wheel well back cover to see it? Aphoto would be most welcome!

If the 2001 is anything like the classic then the evaporator drain would be underneath the car behind the engine a little bit right of the middle on the firewall.

In the meanwhile, I'll tell you what it looks like & where it is: Jack the car up & look for it to the right of the exhaust pipe underneath the evaporator compartment. It's a short black tube with what looks like fish lips on the end. Sometimes it gets clogged. EDIT: OK.....I found it!!! Go to the thread noted below & read my post there made on 5/24/2012 at 5:06 PM. There are 2 pics of it there. aurorah.proboards.com/thread/25110/bad-smell-hvac-vents
