Hey guys. I have a 2003 Aurora with GPS, Bose, 12 disc changer, and Onstar. Due to laws changing I'm needing to add bluetooth to my car. I'm wanting to keep the factory hu. Have any of yall had success adding aftermarket bluetooth device? If so, which devices did you use? I've seen the isimple line up, just not sure what's compatible.

Thanks for the info! I'm looking for something to play music as well, does this system do that?

You can go to Amazon & look up 3.5mm bluetooth add-on, & find transmit/receive units that works through the headphone jack

12 disc changer if you remove that you can use the connector to make AUX jack

I didnt even think about that, Paul. Would this be the connector to the cd changer itself or a connector in the dash somewhere?

I've used the iSimple kit in the past on 2 other vehicles & like it best because it installs in the antenna line and opens the connection when Bluetooth is in use. I've NEVER experienced interference from strong stations using this kit. For the Aurora the problem is the antenna connector is buried way up under the dash at the base of the passenger-side of the windshield. I've had decent luck with the Belkin FM transmitter adapter. Thanks to the FCC severely limiting the transmitting power of these devices, every adapter I tried that mounts more than a few inches from the radio was a disappointment.

The connector behind the changer that you would use.

Anybody ever figure out if that BlueSTAR module would work in an '03?

My recollection is the Bluestar had some serious drawback when installed in an Aurora. Mono only, limited frequency response...? Oldsmobile doesn't appear on their compatibility list.
