Well I've been trying to tackle water leaks in both Aurora's for some time. I think the 4.0 is pretty much sealed up. But when I pulled the door trim off in the 3.5, I was shocked to find 2 of the doors are missed the water deflector entirely. Quick searches online reveal that the parts are no longer available. Does anyone have any suggestions on what material I should use to replace the water deflectors with? I'm thinking I'll just cut something generic to fit (but it will have to be more flexible than the stock rubber deflector, as I will not be able to cut all of the notches for the window motors and other components)...

Well I got some 6 mil plastic and butyl tape and made my own. Hopefully that works out. For anyone trying to make new water deflectors in the future, Home Depot has plastic and Amazon has butyl. Just draw an outline on the plastic and cut to fit. We'll see if any more water gets in during the rain storms this week.
