Mine's leaking pretty bad somewhere along the vertical section that drops down from the pump right above (and dripping on) the right inner CV joint. Looking at the hose at Rock Auto it's a pretty long affair with many bends. Can it be wiggled into place without using a lift?

Yeah, you can do it in your driveway (on jackstands) with hand tools.
Difficulty level depends on how much patience you have, haha! The neighbors all took their kids inside when I did mine...

That's a great Sticky! Although I might have preferred to be told "Impossible without a lift & several GM-specific Special Tools"!

It's not hard at all, I've changed 2 already and the most painful part was routing it back in. space is annoying, but with the right tools, it's not hard at all

If I could swear on these forums I would be explaining this a lot more harshly: The experience is completely painful and sucked a lot. It is doable. To do mine, I disconnected the end links for the sway bar(mine were original and actually broke, so I replaced them) and unbolted the heat shield for the power steering rack. Then a lot of swearing and wiggling.b
