I have a sentimental attachment to my oldest daughter's 2001 Aurora. I am trying to get it road-worthy again. Yes, it has 220,000 miles. Is this a car I should invest in rejuvenating? 17-yr-old wiring in confection-oven Texas has me anxious. Is this an effort I should expend, or am I being to emotional?

Welcome to the forum. What all is wrong with the car?

Absolutely get it going! There are people here who are experts about the Aurora. They can answer practically any questions you have about that car. And welcome to ACNA!

Welcome to the forum. Hard to say whether or not to get it going, need more information. If you have a sentimental attachment to the car though, I'd say absolutely. If you plan on keeping it for awhile that is.

Time.
Money.
I have a little of both, but no abundance of either, like most here I'd assume. But when you bring sentiment into the equation, all bets are off, haha!
That's basically what it all comes down to. In this case, and for life in general... Choices...
Personally, I'll keep mine on the road for the foreseeable future, albeit in a diminished capacity, cost be damned!
And if you decide to go for it, we'll be here...
Welcome!
