Does anyone sell aftermarket ones that work better or a way to increase the range of ones I have? The batteries are already replaced just in case that was it.

The best way I've found is to literally hold it under your chin while you press the button. It works quite well. There's a few articles out on the web that show why it works if you are interested in that.

Akin to touching a radio or tv antenna for better reception, your body becomes a bigger antenna. I'd probably go after the antenna on the receiver in the car though...

I was actually able to make the range much better by getting a new fob. I got a pack of 2 for about 15 dollars and synced them to my car. Pleasantly surprised. Although a mod to make the receiver antenna better would be cool if someone had that know how
