There is one that is by the passenger-facing vent in the center of the car(so by the DIC) and I need to replace it. Has anyone done the job? And if so, which one is it? Online there are 3 options, 1 left, 1 right, and one air inlet. Intution would tell me its the "right one" but I just want to be verifying. My scan tool says air mixture door #2 needs to be replaced if that helps.

35 is left 13 is right 3 is air inlet You sure it's not just the actuator? you're gonna have to take the whole dash apart to get to that door...

Ill post the code when I go pull it again, the noise comes right from the top of the dash and according to the scan tool and the erratic noises its the mixture door 2

It probably would be the actuator that manipulates the door rather than the door itself

I scanned the code again. B0282. Air mix door 2 inoperative. Would that be the right blend door actuator?

Yes, I would think so.
It's #12 in the diagram, you want the part #?

Rock auto lists the parts as left or right for ACDELCO. So I’ll get the right one and do the work. Anyone know how hard it is to swap that...? I’d hope I’d just have to remove the dash cover which is already missing half its bolts.

It's pretty easy, I only pulled the glovebox and knee bolster. Not sure if that's the "right way", but it works, haha!
