Hey All!
I recently acquired a 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora with about 82,000 miles on it. I got it from my dad who mostly kept it in the garage and drove it about 15 miles per day between home and work. While he owned it he fixed quite a few issues it was having, however there is one very annoying and costly issue with it: a leak in the power steering line.
He had taken it to a mechanic who told him that it was a leak and not the pump. I drive a little bit more than him and unfortunately I don't have a garage to keep it in so it is kept outdoors. It has been quite hot and humid here since I got it.
My dad used to be able to put in power steering fluid with stop leak every 1-2 months and it would be fine, however in the two weeks or so I have had the car a full can of the stop leak only lasts 5-6 days before I start having to muscle it after just turning it on. Once it gets warmed up a little bit power steering is restored but the engine compartment emits a whir/whine when the wheel is engaged until I put more power steering fluid in.
I assume it's the line so any help fixing/replacing the line would be greatly appreciated! If anyone had any other thoughts as to what it might be please let me know! It's been quite bothersome to have to spend an additional 11.00/week in power steering fluid!

Those links should help out^. Get that fixed as soon as you can though because it might not be a pump now, but it will be if it keeps getting starved of fluid.
