So... my fuel line rusted next to my fuel filter on the side that goes to the fuel rail.... how exactly do you replace it, though?
Near the intermediate shaft it goes from metal line to plastic(because of course) but it does so without clamps, disconnect, etc. Its just... connected. If I were to replace that far, how the heck do you do that?
Anyway, I will probably replace just most of it along the bottom of the car since that is feasible and the rust stops toward the front of the car. But Im just really curious.

When i got my mechanic replaced my fuel filter I had that problem as well. He told me that he used some high pressure rubber hose to replace the rusted area of the line. This seems to be a very common problem on our cars.

I think you need to have the nylon line pressed onto the metal line.
