Those look pretty good, let us know how they bolt up. I'm interested how they will look on the car, I've always liked 5 spoke wheels.

Specs say the wheels will fit. The 225/45-18 tires are too small though. It'll work but speedo will be off and will look a little goofy.

And do what do you mean too small, is the tire too small for the rim or something else.and how will that affect the overall ride on the wheels.

225/40-18 is 1.5 inches shorter than the OEM 225/60-16... Like sall said, it'll work, but it will throw the speedo off a bit and look small in the wheel opening. I'd run 245/45-18s all around...

So the only way to avoid the speedo issue is to run the 245/45/18s? My only problem is that I was trying to avoid buying brand new tire seperatley and since these came with like new tires I thought I'd be good. I'll consider the 245/ 45s after testing out the mounted ones for a while. Thanks for the info. Is there any other method to get around the issue without replacing tires.

I wonder if reprogramming the PCM would do it.

Here they are bolted on. Smooth ride and clean look. As you guys noted, they do throw my speedo off by 2-3 mph. Is there any way to fix this without changing tires? Let me know what you guys think of this setup.

They look pretty dang good, tigger was right though, little bit of excess space in the wheel wells

Thinking about going to a tire shop and trading for a set of decent 245/45/18 tires. Unless I can get away with just changing the fronts to 245/40/18 like the rear?

Unless I can get away with just changing the fronts to 245/40/18 like the rear? It would be a little better but you'd still be nearly an inch shorter than stock. So same issues to a lesser degree. I'm with Rob in thinking you could probably fix the speedo issue at the PCM level. But you'd have to find someone capable of making the change, pay them, and then pay them again to change it back. Just go get the 245/45-18s...

It appears that 255/45ZR18 may be the optimum 18 inch tire for the Gen1 Aurora. They're the correct 27 inch diameter and aren't too wide and fit an eight inch rim width. Anyone fit this size?

I personally dont like the look of low profile or those specifically, but I can see how some do. Find an 18 inch tire that fits that width rim and is the same OE height of 225/60/16

All good.
And my 'excellent advice' comment wasn't facetious. Most have no idea how to calculate tire/wheel.

So I purchased some 245/45/18 lionhart tires off ebay for a little less than 300 for the set. These will work right?
