Antifreeze disappearing in my '87 Aurora- nothing showing

I'm losing antifreeze in my 1987 Aurora. Level keeps going down, but I don't see any leaks anywhere. Am I going to my garage for head gaskets? I hope not. If so, should I do both sides?

First check to see that the radiator end tanks aren't leaking. A hairline crack in them can be very hard to spot. Also see that all the hose clamps are tight, and that the heater core is OK. I had the exact same problem in my 2001 4.0 years ago, and it turned out to be the radiator tanks.

Yes, check radiator end tanks. In my case it was difficult to see it and sure enough, finally a hairline crack barely foaming out or bubbling up right under the top Transmission Line (engine running).
2nd time same thing, could not find it. Check everywhere. Then I added antifreeze and sure enough, Heatercore busted. How I found out, well the smell of antifreeze all under the passenger floormat. Did not smell it the 1st time cause I ran radiator with good clean, fresh from the highest mountains drinking water.
So it dried up quickly in that Summer super heat.
If head gasket, then replace both.

Check your crossover seals as well.
