So... my 1g, Im just getting around to working on her some, cleaning it up, etc. And I noticed that the door handles all stick in the up position.... all 4. Is this a common issue? Im gonna try spraying some penetrating oil up into them but if its the handle itself sticking I fear I might have to take the door panel apart to do that.

Sounds like the springs might be broken aurorah.proboards.com/thread/3343Door panels are easy to take off. There's a philips head screw by the door handle behind a plastic cover, then two 7mm screws at the bottom of the door. Once you get the screw by the handle off, you take the plastic shroud around the handle off. Then just lift straight up on the panel to pop it loose, and pull it straight off. Exterior handles are attached with 2 10mm bolts, there are access holes in the door frame to reach them. |
