I've been having this problem off and on for a few years now. Usually changing my plugs stops it but this time there was no change.
I get a slight miss when in gear at idle (think stoplight) and when the torque converter locks up (around 40/70 mph). Car runs fine under quick acceleration and when in park. The misfire isn't enough to trip the CEL.
I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
Right now it's little more than a nuisance, maybe one slight miss or so every 20 secs. Probably even only on one piston. I want to do some troubleshooting and am curious on what to try.
If anyone can give their procedure for checking: plugs, wires, coils, injectors etc. it'd be greatly appreciated. I don't want to just throw parts at it.

I measured the resistance of the coil packs all of which were 6.3-6.4k ohms which, from what I've read, is in the the normal range. I also read that this test isn't conclusive as they can ohm out okay and still be bad. Not sure what to try next.
Had the data up on the scan tool. Had a pending code for "near stall or miss detected" and nothing else. Not surprising. Checked out fuel trims. One of the banks was a little lean but within range of standard (i/e sum of short term and long term trim was under 10%) Was showing +1/-1 for short term trims and +6.7 for long term on I believe the left bank. Not that much out of range, and I don't know if it'd be enough to cause a miss. 02 sensor voltages were within spec.
No misfires detected on the scan tool. But they are definitely there. RPM drops 50-100 revs when it happens. and returns back to normal immediately.

IDK Rob...
Did you ohm the plug wires?
Sticky injector maybe?

Still need to DMM check wires. I've been prepping my house to put on the market so my time is mostly consumed at the moment. I was thinking bad injector. I know that at least 75% of them have been replaced before by the original owner in 2011. I also saw that a carboned up EGR that doesn't seal properly could cause similar issues. My honest opinion is that it's probably wires because its intermittent. But I'd hate to just throw away $50-75 on a guess, especially when I'm dumping money on the house right now haha.
