Hello All..I have a 03 Aurora, it wasn't very well taken care of when i got it. But I still love her! Shes alil slow to get going but boy when she gets there she flys. It says low coolant when its full and has a few "p" codes and check stabilizing system. and the back windows only up from the driver seat. if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. thank you so much
Your low coolant and service stability messages are pretty common issues for these vehicles. Need a little more info about the windows.
The low coolant message could be caused by a bad connector or damaged wiring, but it's most commonly a stuck level sensor. The sensor is a float in the bottom of the reservoir. Over time, sediment will build up and make the float stick in the 'low' position. You can remove the tank and try to clean it, but ultimately, the best fix is to just replace it.
If you don't have any other lights or messages related to the stability system (ABS, TRAC OFF, etc.), it's most likely a bad or failing steering wheel position sensor.
Are you saying the rear window switches do not operate the rear windows, but the driver's switch does? If so, work the window lock switch back and forth a few times. May need to be replaced though.
