I head out tomorrow to pick up a 2001 Aurora 3.5 with only 42k original miles! Is anyone here lower than that?
Apparently it has some sort of electrical issue, I won't know exactly what's wrong until I get it in my garage, but I'm sure I'll be posting here more often.

I know a new member brocket said his had I believe 35k on it. I used to be pretty low with 53K when I bought it in 2011 but those days are long gone haha.

My 2001 v8 was with 22k on it. I had it from 2010 to 2018. Sold to coworker with 160k on it.

I just turned over 15,000 on a Final 500 I bought last year.

Interesting.
Not to be a wet blanket, but I'd be much more curious about who has the most miles... which gets very complicated, as people have replaced engines, etc.

Just crossed over to 100k last month. Bought it with 93k back in November.

I know Freddy (a member that isn't on much now) had over I think 250K on the original trans/motor. I've seen salvage yard ones with over 300K on them but who knows how old the motor/trans were. I'm at 133k now

181K on original drivetrain, pretty much the only thing that hasn't been refurbed/replaced though, haha!
Solid, but really starting to feel her age...

I acheived 133k original miles(unless the cluster wasnt original..) before my engine decided oil pressure was unnecessary for operation.

On that subject, anyone need a cluster with 133k miles?

My 2001 has (drum roll) only 13,450 km which for you folks south of the 49th parallel equals 8,357 miles. I bought it new as a custom order when I retired. I replaced the original tires a few years ago for Goodyear Comfort Treads and this year I had to recharge my air conditioner.

Met a friend for life on here heh). Don't quote but if I remember correctly when my nephew got it it had 272k and before he wrecked it it had upwards of 278k on the ORIGINAL motor and trans with NO oil leaks and still lost all traction on the 1-2 upshift. And i'm not talking about a little chirp, it hollered tires on that shift and was as stong as the day it left the factory. I'd still have it had ne not wrecked it by flipping it'd still be running. In fact it drove onto the tow truck after the wreck still running strong but the body damage was beyond repair.

It’s true, we bought our ‘96 a couple of months ago and she is getting close to 36,000 miles on her. I have been doing fluid changes, etc. and am always eager to learn of technical tips and preventive stuff to do. Also was just at the OCA Nationals in Wichita KS and it did not seem the folks there knew anything about this Aurora club! More sharing of info and parts sources is better, I think!

Y'all need to just take your Aurora out for aimless summer drives in the lovely countryside. Do it on Sunday mornings when the traffic is light.

Interesting. Not to be a wet blanket, but I'd be much more curious about who has the most miles... which gets very complicated, as people have replaced engines, etc. Mine has 267k miles on original 3.5 engine, its still great just burns a quart of oil every second it seems. I figured i would start the high miles competition.
