Hi everyone. Currently I have a '96 Nissan Maxima that I'm "learning how to fix cars" on, I've brought it from a state of definitely needing to be crushed to almost to a 10 foot restored condition. I have though been thinking about a replacement. A few ideas were Infiniti I35, Acura TL, Acura Legend, Infiniti G35, etc. But one day I was at the salvage yard looking for parts and saw a 2nd gen Aurora. I sat inside and the interior blew me away. I also found out my girlfriend's online alter ego when she was young was "Aurora" so perhaps that's a sign that Aurora ownership should be in my future . The main thing I'm torn about is I love the exterior of the 1st gen due to it's futuristic shape, but love the interior of the 2nd gen. So it has definitely been added to the list and I'm looking forward to learning a lot more about them. I'm also curious if, like the Intrigue, the Aurora was designed to be an 'import killer'. As someone who has owned Japanese cars most of his life the styling of the Intrigue and Aurora really appeal to me, so if that was part of the aim then Olds was successful, at least to me. Lastly, here is a cool photo of the last generation of Oldsmobiles -Chris

Welcome to ACNA! I sure hope that you get a good running Aurora, 2G or Classic, very soon.
