So I bought two PCV valves and I replaced the one for the 2001 4.0 yesterday. I went to replace the one for the 2003 4.0 today and there is no PCV valve. Don't get me wrong, there is a nipple sticking out of the valve cover but it is not removable as it is part of the valve cover. It is also smaller then the standard PCV connection. Slightly smaller. Did they eliminate the PCV Valve for the 2003 model year? Or am I just losing my mind?

Haha, no, you're not losing your mind. Just an orifice, no rattle valve. I've seen with my own eyes!

So... what does it look like? How does it get serviced?

Like AmunRoo said, there's a rubber nipple where the hole used to be. Maybe he can post a pic.
As for servicing, I assume you could use a pipe cleaner or similar to clean the orifice in the nipple. Not really sure.
