I've had my aurora for some time & I really don't want to get rid of it but I might have to if I can't fix my issue. My car starts, runs for a while & once I park it doesn't start again. Changed AC compressor, alternator, tune-up still no help whatsoever. I REALLY need help with this one because one mechanic stated that it might be the BCM or computer. ANYONE IN THE GROUP, IF YOU COULD PLEASE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION YOU WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL. Thank you very much & hope to get a response VERY SOON because I might be running out of patienceπ’ππ‘π π€. HELP!!!!!

Thank you and I had it scanned earlier today. The mechanic told me that it could possibly be the ECM and or the BCM. Priced both parts on rockauto & seems to be very cheap. Happy that a fellow aurora owner replied πβπͺπ―!!!!!

I can't see what the BCM would have to do with it. I guess it could be a bad PCM, but the car starts and runs fine when cold right? I think it's more likely that the PCM is fine but getting bad info/no info from one (or more) of the sensors it uses to set air/fuel ratio...
For example, when the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor reports the engine is cold, the PCM will add fuel to get a start. But if a faulty ECT sensor ALWAYS reports that the engine is cold, the PCM will always enrich the mix, which makes a warm engine more difficult/impossible to start.
Next time the engine is warmed up and has been sitting for a short time, try depressing the accelerator pedal to the floor while cranking the car. This opens the throttle plate and allows more air to be drawn into the intake, leaning out the air/fuel mixture. If it starts, you'll know it's too rich.
Just think air, fuel, spark. Clean the MAF, IACV, throttle body bore and throttle plate. Check your air filter. Change your fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator if needed. Run some fuel injector cleaner through the system. Check your plugs and wires. Test your coil packs. Make sure all your electrical connections are good with no damaged wiring.
It sounds like a lot, I know, but a good scan tool will really help you out here.

What are the symptoms when it doesn't start after warming up? Does it actually crank and not start, or do you turn the key and nothing happens? This could be a number of issues. Alternator and A/C compressor wouldn't be related to this issue unless they were completely seized up, but you would know it right away.
I personally, would suspect a fueling issue. A lot of times this issue is caused by the fuel pressure regulator.
What leads them to believe it is the PCM? Do you have any specific codes?

After parking, I try to restart to move the vehicle & nothing. No lights on dash, no power except for internal & external lights. I also noticed that only the fuel gauge moves so i'm stumped. I've been told that it can be something electrical. I want to fix it A.S.AP!!!!!

That sounds like an ignition switch issue.

That sounds like an ignition switch issue. Thank you because I was thinking ICM. I would first of like to give thanks to the great members that helped me solve my conundrum as well as being a part of a great community of car enthusiasts. Also it was the ignition switch, which was the original that had went bad. Bought a new ignition switch from Amazon for $68 & problem solved. Once again, thank you gentlemen as well as proud aurora ownersπβπͺπ―!!!!!
