Well I think I'll soon be reaching the end of the rope with my 4.0...torque converter clutch solenoid went out today, so no more TCC lockup on the highway. Definitely not fixing it. Coupled with a very mild headgasket leak, this summer will probably be here end.
On the lookout for a clean 03 with Bose. Send me a message if you come across any. Thanks!

How mild a head gasket leak and how is it leaking (oil to coolant, combustion gases to coolant, etc.). That trans will go for quite a while without TCC lockup, ...ask me how I know, haha!

PA. Salty winter PA. The 4.0 has had a hard life, but has a fresh front subframe, brake lines, and some of the fuel lines done already... Just getting to be too much to keep up. Rear subframe is not pretty either now.
Combustion into coolant. Very mild. Still drivable for now, but definitely builds up too much pressure in the coolant, to the point it sometimes pushes coolant through the cap. No oil mixing that I can tell (yet).
If I go for another one it's gotta either be really low mileage or from a southern state (the 3.5 is from Arizona and it's got no rust whatsoever).
