Hi, I'm Gary, this is the first forum I've ever joined, I'll try to do things the right way. I have a '98 pewter/tan I bought when it was 3 years old. I've done quite a few repairs, pulled the engine last year to reseal. As we all know, diagnosing is challenging sometimes, I joined so I can exchange ideas and solutions. I'm pretty well tooled up and have quite a bit of hobby-level wrenching experience. Also have a '00 Montana, '62 Ford M151 and a '59 Harley. Daughter has a '02 Laredo & '63 Falcon, grandson has a '04 Mustang. All parked at my little brick ranch on a standard city lot. One car garage hardly ever used for parking a car. Kinda takin' a break till this Covid nuisance burns out.

Welcome! That's awesome that you did a full re-seal. How long did that take? I might do that one day when I get a 2nd car again.

HI, thanks for the welcomes! RCA1186 it took about a week to pull, a week to clean & reseal, and a week to re-install. I've been trying to figure out how to post pictures here, but haven't got it yet. This is the first forum I've ever joined, and I'm not the sharpest knife in the block when it comes to online communications. I have to confess, I'm more of a "lurker" than a joiner. Gary
