If you know of a thread that can help me please send me there.
But my 2001 Aurora with 3.5 engine doesn't always start when I turn the key. It always starts perfectly when I use the command start remotely.
I have checked all fuses and relays and my suspicion is that maybe the actual ignition in dash that I put the key into may need to be replaced.
Have any of you experienced this and how did you fix it?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions and kind help.
Greg

Since you have remote start it might be issue with the remote start it self since its hijacking/bypassing car factory security. Sometimes might be that it will interfere with security and car cant read your chip inside the key. So i would first would disable that system and see if issue still there . Auroras dont like a lot of aftermarket stuff it massing up a lot of its systems.

I would guess ignition switch if paul's hunch isn't correct.
