Hope you all are well today. I would like to pull my instrument cluster in my 2001 but the only thread I can find on this site says I have to pull the entire top of my Dash.
I have never had to do this for any other Oldsmobiles and maybe one of you kind Souls with a service manual could let me know how to pull the cluster in an easier way.
Thank you so much for any pointers you can provide!

If you want to pull the cluster out you will have to remove the radio bezel and knee pad under the steering wheel. There is then a series of 7mm bolts and some push pins to remove before you can take the whole dash pad out. It’s not difficult just tedious. On the cluster there are (4) T25 (I think) Torx screws. One electrical connector behind the cluster and it will come out.

Oh yeah and also the two A pillars have to be removed along with the plastic defrost/twilight trim piece to access the bolts from the top side.

Thank you so much! So I guess I DO have to pull the entire dash pad. But I appreciate the clarity
