Hello,
I have a 2001 3.5 and it will not start.
My mechanic has gone as far as he can. He figures it is the ecm that is dead in the car as it not reading anything. They thought it was a crank position sensor but they replaced that and it still will not go. If it is the ECM that it will have to go the dealer and it could be big money. The body is not in great shape, it runs well when it did start; though it could be done. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
Thanks

If it is the ECM... Flagship One Inc.Pre-programmed to your VIN, no core charge, free shipping, lifetime warranty... $112.49! Probably worth a shot if you're convinced it's the ECM.

Check the camshaft position sensor. It's located in the rear head on the passenger side. My car wouldn't start and it was because the wiring to the camshaft position sensor was frayed and not making good contact. I replaced the entire plug and it fired right up.
