Hello All, I'm wondering what you all are using for a code reader, I'm currently using a Blue Reader. I'm looking to upgrade to a unit with more features. I'm looking to spend $400 - $500. I'm a 57 year old DIY mechanic and was state certified for 15 years in the 80's and 90's. I have 4 GM cars/trucks and keep them for a long amount of time with the years ranging from 2001 - 2007. I've looked at the Innova 6510 pro, Autel MK808, iCarsoft CR, and some others. I'm looking to get more live data readings and control. I've done a lot of research on Youtube but feel some of them are recommending a certain model because it was sent to them for free. I prefer actual user input, thanks!

if you wanna have all options and controls for Aurora or any GM car till 2014 Tech 2 is the answer "I got this clone works grate for me www.obd2tool.com/goods-1568-GM+Tech2+GM+Scanner+-CANdi++TIS+(Works+for+GMSAABOPELSUZUKIISUZUHolden).htmlMake sure you select GM card +28 to the price. It can program keyfobs turn sensors on and off . Program sensors test lamps test windows up and down to make sure its not switch etc. Anything than dealer will do with the OEM Tech2 only issue you cant program new VIN and megnasteer But you can program new radio etc.
