I have a broken steering column & would love to find a replacement for my 1999 oldsmobile aurora. Is there any compatible from another GM models from the same year🤔?

There is a very large yard in Yonkers, NY that you could try. www.sawmillauto.com/parts-department.aspx Scroll down to the parts request form. And based on the little that I know about the 1995 - 99, I think that the steering columns might be interchangeable among those years' Auroras.

Usually it's just the pins that fall out. But I've also seen one where the entire aluminum bracket that supports the wheel fractures and cracks off. aurorah.proboards.com/thread/12501/steering-wheel-issuesIn any case, your best bet is to call some salvage yards and find one. I'm not sure about compatibility with other vehicles. The Buick Riviera from the same vintage is a possibility but they're almost harder to find than the Aurora. Possibly other olds/Cadillacs of the era.

Sorry that it took soooo long to reply 😢😭. First I would like to thank everyone that replied to my message & I also have great news. Shopped online(salvage yard) found steering column, had it replaced with original steering wheel😊😁. I also had to replace rack & pinion & high power pressure line for the power steering. I would like to thank everyone once again for your input & knowledge. I LOVE my 1999 and don't want to get rid of him😊.
