Does anyone have an A/C High Pressure Hose? It would appear this hose is obsolete and no one can find one. Any help is appreciated.
Let me know what you might have. The guy at the shop didn't know if it was the high or low hose. He wasn't at the car when we were speaking so it could be either one.
Ok, update.
I was told it was the Evaporator to the Accumulator line. GM Part # 15-311-55

You should find it here housesThe shop looked at the pictures and said none of them looked like the one on the car. I wonder if the pictures on RockAuto are not of the exact part but are pictures of different ones. I'll probably order one of them and see if it works.

Have AC again. The hard line had a pinhole in it. I took it to a radiator shop to TIG welded up the hole and now I'm back in business with AC.

I'm glad you got it fixed. For future reference, have you tried searching for the same part but for a Cadillac DeVille? Everything should be in the same for the 4.6 to the 4.0

I have not. I didn't realize some parts are the same for a Buick and Cadillac DeVille.

Everything should be in the same for the 4.6 to the 4.0 for AC lines they would be more model-specific than engine specific, hell, even platform. AC Lines usually are made to route around other stuff and they peridocially change shape for purpose of eliminating places where they may rub/wear or cause vibration ground outs. In the case of 3800, my park avenue had an AC line revision in 2000 that was because the heater core hoses were redesigned and hooked into the alternator bracket with a different approach and fittings as to eliminate a point where engine vibrations were traveling through the heater line and vibrating in dash, which meant the AC line that was directly above it had to be reshaped. ALso, the aurora has a much more restricted nose which I assume places the condensor fittings somewhere slightly different the caddy for almost anything else tho you are right

I actually pulled the suction hose and the hose from the compressor to the condenser from a caddy. Same lines.

yes most lines are same but the one he was looking for are not same form cadi at list what i saw. That's why other lines you can buy new except that one. I guess the other once was put in not only caddy maybe even other GM cars.
