Hi, Does anyone know how the shift selector is removed from the console? It’s a square top with button and has a power/normal button near its lower section. The leather is really bad so want to have it reupholstered. Thanks

Put the car into D with it not running, look at the shifter handle in the very front. You will see a small slot in the leather. In there, there is a C-clip you must pull out with a thin screwdriver. After that is out, just pull straight up while depressing the button. Be mindful of the wiring that will still be connected to the power/normal button.
