So I have a 2001 4.0 with an intermittent misfire on cylinder 2. I changed the plug and made sure it was properly gapped. I changed the injector and put in a brand new one. And I replaced the coil pack with a known working good coil pack from my other Aurora. The problem went away but, it has now started misfiring on cylinder two all over again. It only happens at idle or when I'm at a complete stop and the car is in gear. It feels like a stumble. It kind of jars the car a little bit. I'm wondering if it's just a bad cylinder at this point.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the issue might be. I've checked the long and short-term fuel terms and all that they are good.

you need to go to the shop so they can use a camera to look inside the cylinder . Might be bad wires/plug to the ignition module. or head gasket issue. WHat spark plug did u use?

good once:) On my 3.5 there was a bad wire to the plug for the ignition module that caused issues. so check the wires.

No wires on the Northstar. But, it ended up being a bad spark plugs boot... 🙄
