Hey y'all,. So I'm having an issue with my wipers. They come on whenever I command them on but then they don't shut off. I have to turn off the car. Also, the intermittent portion of the wipers aren't working. Is it possible that it's the switch on the steering column that is no longer any good? Any ideas or thoughts or help is greatly appreciated.

More likely the circuit board on the wiper motor (pulse board). The solder joints begin to vibrate loose over time.

I've got the identical issue in my 2001 and I'm debating whether to 'blow out' the wiper switch with compressed air or to buy a new motor. Wish I knew best way to know for sure which direction to go.

My guess...if the intermittent positions aren't working, it might be the switch.
