I've added pictures and details of the fuse blocks to my website but there's a couple that I don't know what they are. 1. What's the flat pack motor? 2. What does TMNSS stand for? Most of the fuse descriptions are self explanatory - but I don't know what these two are all about. They're in the instrument panel fuse block - the one by your left knee (in a classic, anyway).

You always have such good information to add Howard. I, on the other hand, have little to offer here. A flat pack motor would generally be some kind of actuator, like the one for running the air compressor on the ELC or some such thing. But no idea what this one is. TMNSS is uhmm... it's well...it runs the...no, not that...hmmmm. Listen, it's just in case, don't worry about it.

This is wild stab at it. Could it be Tilt Mirror Night Sensing System? If I'm incorrect, is it not in the Owners manual(in description)?

Eureka ! I found out the answers to my questions - TMNSS is the Transmission Mounted Neutral Safety Switch, and the flat pack motors are part of the HVAC controls.

Great! Define Transmission Mounted Neutral Safety Switch. It's a switch that's mounted on the transmission What it does is check that the transmission is in neutral before you start the engine. (I didn't make it up you know !) ;D
