Upon opening my driver's side door this morning, my dashboard gave me three audible "dings"... the same sound as when an alert pops up on the DIC. My key was not in the ignition, and there was no power on other than the interior lights. I noticed that my "Security" light (on the money bar) was lit solid, and I think it's usually flashing when the door is open... but maybe not.
Electrical gremlins, or has anyone else experienced this?

I think that happens if a door is opened with the car in drive, followed by the "door ajar" message.

Yes it does, which is why this time was so strange. The engine was off, and I was standing outside the car with the keys in my hand at the time; I just opened the door and heard 'ding ding ding'. Nothing ever showed on the DIC or anything, after I got in and started the engine.

yes, this happened to me once when I accidentally hit the arm button on my remote and then hit the disarm button before it could fully arm. when I opened the door it made that noise and my car would not start (the alarm was still on). I just pushed arm waited a second then disarm and everything was fine.
