On my 01, the passenger side window will not go up or down. When you press the switch, and I have tried both of them, you can hear a clicking noise, like it's trying to do something, but it will not work. Should I look in the wire harness going from the door into the car itself, or should I pull the door panel first? How hard is it to get that door panel off and back on??

is it the front or rear window? Sounds like a bad regulator to me. They go out all the time on the Bonneville's too, except for the rear windows they usually fall down into the door when the regulator fails.

Yea, it's the right front window and it does act like I have the windowlock on. Anybody know how much it is to replace a regulator??

This has happened to me, but when it was snowing and i was clearing off the snow by rolling it down. The problem is the switch. To get it to roll back up you need to reverse the polarity of the switch to get it rolled back up, then put in a new switch. It is really easy, just get some spare wire and reverse the wires on them, so when you think you are putting the window down, it actually goes up. After talking with my friend who is a service manager for and old Olds dealership, this is very prevalent.

Actually, mine is stuck in the rolled up position, which is a good thing

I just posted a thread in the Classic 95 Maintenance section that talks about this very thing. If you are hearing the clicking, then the switch is working. It could be the adjuster screw on the power window motor. Check out my thread and see if it works for you.
