I was cleaning the engine bay of dirt and other stuff, when I thought that I'd clean the inside part of the throttle body. To my surprise, I've yet to see a MAF sensor on the car. The closest sensor to the throttle body was the Throttle Position Sensor or TPS. Anyone else noticed this?

Forgot something I also noticed that the Traction Control Motor on my Aurora is made by the same company that made it in my '92 Town Car. ATCO is the company. From experience with my '92 TC, It does an absolutely fantastic job of arresting wheel spin.

Can you tell me how you cleaned the Throttle Body?
From what I can tell there are 3 screws holding the intake onto the TB. Do I need to take these screws off? And If so, can you tell me how?
Thanks in advance.

The best way to clean the TB on ANY car is to take it off! You want to use throttlebody cleaner and a toothbrush to the the sometimes thick and gunky film off of it. Take your time and get it done right - a car with a clean TB idles better and has superior throttle response. As for the MAF yes its the "thingy with the mesh screen"

Footnote: Make sure the toothbrush you use is the "soft" type. REMEMBER, the throttle body interior is coated with a Teflon material, and is quite thin. DO NOT use Carb cleaner as it will eat the Teflon.

Forgot about the soft part - good call 4LiterV8. Oh yea, don't use your personal toothbrush for the job!
