My 95 started doing this a week or 2 ago. When i first start it up cold, or even when warm, when idling, it will be at 900 rpm, then drop as low as 500, then bounce back to 900 again, and back down to 500 and keep repeating. its very noticeable too. Is there something like a EGR cleaning or something you guys talked about on here, that is easy enough for me to do? i dont want to fock it up worse.
thanks

Once in a while my engine will rev up to 950 RPM in park (at idle) then dropped to 600 in gear, but only maybe once or twice a week. When its cold it revs a bit higher too until the juices begin to warm up. Check the throttle positioning and even your EGR. Use your block heater at night and see what happens as well. Plug in young padwan

Not sure, check beside yer intake hose/airbox for a cord with a plug tied up with plastic binding...my 89 Bonneville had one, so you'd think a top of the line Olds Aurora (95 even) should have it.

Block heater was the cold weather package option. Not too common in the USA. (Apparently we prefer gold badging)
