I passed my emissions test approx. 3 weeks ago at my local GM dealer. The only thing I done to prepair for the test was oil change, tank up with the regular brew of Sunoco, and drove it for maybe 20 minutes. Here are my results.......
ASM 2525
HC ppm Limit 64 Reading 6 CO% Limit 0.35 Reading 0.00 NO ppm Limit 470 Reading 18 Dilution 15.0
CURB IDLE
HC ppm Limit 150 Reading 6 CO% Limit 0.70 Reading 0.01 Dilution 14.7

$35 anywhere. I think "Big Brother" controls that stuff so no one can charge more or less.

Emissions costs me $0, because there is no requirement for such where I am. Living out in the boonies has its advantages.

You guys are lucky. I have mixed feelings about emission testing. Lots of people say it's a waste of time and money. People have reported to have failed at one testing facility only to pass at another.
I dunno……as long as I pass, it’s okay with me……….for now.
