Lets see here: Us:New car. Something goes out. You need to fix it.
GM: New car. Something goes our. Lets make it the hardest thing in the world to fix.
I have no clue how to fix it but I can only guess that is what you have to do.

How do I replace side marker bulbs located in the bumper? Please tell me I do not need to take the wheel and the splash shield off I'll be danged, I can't find it in the service manual at all. I would start by pulling the front air deflector/tray and see what you can see under there...

The procedure for the Classic is the same, pull down the front air deflector and replace from underneath...a hoist would help, but not all of us are that fortunate, good luck Kobalt, and nice to see you back again.

These side marker bulbs are accessible from behind the headlight cluster. Pull out the screws as if changing a headlight and swing the whole thing out - voila - side marker socket changeable from above
