An annoying noise or rattle can ruin the Aurora experience - an automobile of this class should be rattle-free. In my case the squeak came from the gauge cluster area in the instrument panel as well as the glovebox. ** Part 1: Instrument Panel Rattle Fix ** Difficulty: novice-intermediate Time required: 90mins Tools required: - rachet wrench + 3 inch extension - socket size 7mm - socket size 10mm - flathead screwdriver - phillips screwdriver Parts required: - Home Depot 1/4" rubber grommets Please refer to Gauge Cluster Repair Part I: Dash Disassembly for instrument panel removal The rattle originates from the plastic trim rubbing against the instrument panel Disassemble by unscrewing the 8 screws in the back Place the grommets in between the plastic trim and the instrument panel To assemble follow instructions in reverse order When reinstalling place grommets in between the instrument panel and the 7mm attachment points Its time for yet another beer ;D - stay tuned for Part 2: Glovebox Rattle Fix

On the subject of rattles, I've heard sometimes the wires behind the dash won't be clipped into the guideclips for them, causing them to rattle a bit. Did you see anything like that?
I only have the slightest dash rattle when the car is very cold. The only other rattle I get is from the plastic vanity mirror cover tapping the plastic 2nd sun visor.

Aurora40 - My wires were clipped in firmly and were not a problem. The rattle was almost like a clicking, tapping or bending sound regardless of temperature or road surface. I do have a question - When you close your glovebox is it firm against the dash? Mine seems to give almost 1/4 inches when latched, that is what is causing the rattle.

My glovebox closes tightly. There is no wiggle room in it when closed.
