On my 2001, the marker light on the driver's side is burnt out. This is the one on the front of the car. I looked in the owners manual for directions to replace and could find nothing. I assume the bulb is the 3057, even though that was never specified. Do you access from under the car or through the engine bay to replace this bulb.??

To get to the side marker lamp you have to go through the wheel well. There are several rivet-like clips holding it onto the body of the car. These are very easy to remove. Look closely at the clip and on the center circle there will be a small indentation where you can push in a small flat head screwdriver. Lift the center circle until it stops, then the rivit will lift right out of the wheel well with very litle effort. Repeat for each rivit clip until you can move the wheel well out enough to fit your arm behind there. Feel around the marker light until you can feel a snap-clip holding the light into the bumper molding. The clip will be on the side nearest to the wheel well. Press it toward the light and push outward at the same time to push the light out of the bumper assembly. The bulb is a 194 bulb. If you want to go brighter you could probably go with a 168 bulb too. (not totally sure if the hole is big enough for a 168 to fit in though.) HOpe this helps!

Hmm, well you said marker light, but then said "front of the car"... Do you mean the turn signal light that is in the headlight housing? If not, do what Custom said. If so, then you just need to remove the headlight housing (there are two bolts that hold it in) and the bulb will come out the back side of the housing. You may need to aim your headlight after you put the housing back.

Ditto, but once you get it opened up just take a flash light/trouble light and you'll get a good look at the bulb holder/retainer:) I ended up just taking the light out by un-screwing the 4 bolts holding it on. I did this to get ride of the debris that was knocking around in it from bulb explosion!
