I've been noticing that when filling my gas tank the pump will turn off before my tank is full. I know this because when I go to start the car the needle is slightly below the full line. I can often put in an extra 3-4 gallons of gas after the pump automatically shuts off. It's done this at at few different gas stations. Then before, I've actually had it overfill and spill gas all over me without the pump shutting off. ideas?

Dunno if this is topic specific but, I've had all that happened too. The gas shooting out of the neck is the worst, gotta clean the car, then you. I've also had stations, usually BP, where I can't go full speed with the pump or it will auto-click off.
Think it's mostly crapping pump. I use a "2-click" to avoid under filling. Usually get 1-2 more gals on the second click.

This sounds more like a gas station problem not an Aurora problem. I have had the same thing happen to me but only once in a while.

i've noticed that the pump has to go down a little father then on most cars. i have to push it down hard to get it to stay. i think for that reason the nosil feels the gas is full.

Hmm, I've never had this problem. I do cram the nozzle in as far as it will go, though.
