Any Aurora drivers gonna be on the road this summer?
So far I have road trips planned to Syracuse NY, Keene NH and maybe even Mass.
Then this summer 1st Annual BonnevilleFest in Rockford IL from July 21-25 and maybe onto North Dakota to visit a friend...then all the back to Toronto!
What about you folks?

I'm going to Houston (Texas) in 2 weeks. Does that count? I think that depends on how far you are from Houston in the first place ;D

Ack! dred you have never tried it?! I have done it once, but never had to bounce off the governor. The car is great, handles wonderful at those speeds. Not floaty at all, smooth, just be careful. And get it up to speed then bring er down....

And get it up to speed then bring er down.... I've had it up to 120mph, enough to prove that I've got the autobahn, but not enough to trigger the governor, and I was running out of straight road too. I have to get another 5 mph at least - 125 is the fastest I got my old GTO to go. Maybe on the way home tonight . . . . .

125 mph is pretty speedy. But that GTO was built for it! I gotta find the opportunity to bring the Aurora back up to 140...hard to do around here. But I did toy with a few rice boyz in their "sweet azz" Integras...silly idiots

i take a 13 hour trip to IL from maryland every month to see my fiance. I love toying with those ricers, I raced a wrx for 40 miles and he never once got passed me of course the whole time we were doing like 130 at least I was and everytime he came close I just hit the gas and let him know his 4 cylinder is insufficent. but I've taken it to the gov limit, 140 going that fast makes me want to drive even faster, I think I might get it taken off when I put my new tranny in. THen have one of my cop buddies clock me to see how fast Im going.
