Greetings all. I've spent the last 2 hours on this site and figured I'd better come aboard. Lots of great info and Aurora stories. I have a 1999 silver Aurora purchased July 2001. While searching for a Cadillac I spotted this Aurora on a dealers lot. I fell in love with the design and after a test drive and punching the pedal to the floor I knew this was a must have vehicle. After 3 years I have no regrets and know I made the right decision.

Thanks for saying hello and the welcome. I'm running back and forth from the barbeque right now. Pictures, I'll have to figure that one out. Right now I'm just learning to navigate the board. Thanks.

Hi erw38. An adventure, or problem, I had was last July 2003. I was in downtown Toronto, pulled in to get fuel and the car would not restart. After many tries, and just before roadside assistance showed up the car restarted. One week later same problem. I had to have the car towed to my GM dealer this time. It was the fuel pump in the tank. It was replaced under warranty. I use Petro Canada fuel and am still using the same fuel with no problems since. Now for the great customer service, about 2 months later I received a letter from GM to say they were sorry I had the problem, they gave me a free lube oil & filter at my dealer and a $20.00 gas card from Petro Canada. Way to go GM

Alright! another Canadian and an Ontarian too! sweet! I live in Mississauga, you know, that city that everyone drives through and no one notices...even though we have 650 000 people...lol, but I'm not bitter ;D Personally in my car I use Pioneer Ultra 94 and Esso 91, no problems. And the cool thing about the Aurora is that its easy to get to the fuel pump. Its accessible via the trunk, in some GM cars they need to drop the tank! Anyhow, what area are you from?

Hi Amanda and Yurk, nice to meet you folks and thanks for the welcome.
Jim I'm from Pickering. We might not know your city as we pass through but we sure know your mayor, Queen Hazel McCallion. For those who don't know she is the longest serving mayor in the City of Mississauga's history, since 1978. I'm not sure how old she is but probably in her 80's.

Cool, nice to know there's a few of us. How long has this group been going? I'm surprised there are not more Aurora owners here.
Our power went off at work today so we had to close up early, that's why I'm here at this time of the day.

I started this group late April – early May. It’s slowly but surely drawing more and more members. There are still a lot of people who don’t know about us I’m sure, but as time goes on we’re going to be getting bigger and better… (spoken like a true owner / and advertiser huh LoL)

Great job . I thought the group was older than that with this many members. I'm sure its going to grow with this classic model of vehicle.
