Hi,Im Aurora Ray. I love my car. I bought it in 2004,have had my problems with the car,but when it runs good,you feel like the king of the road.My baby is a 1996 Black Aurora,it is Canadian with 170,000 K:M. The interior is fairly mint,and I just had it repainted high gloss black @ Frost GM Dealership,base coat clear coat. You may need your sunglasses to look at it on a sunny day,becuase she glows. The car looks brand new. I have always been a hotrodder and have owned many muscle cars,but the Aurora is like driving a big 4 door Camaro,with all the luxury and ride comfort of a Cadilac,but also the handling and performance and looks of performance car. BONUS!!! For me the stock engine was a little weak,so I have done the air box gut, removed the MAF air screen,installed a K&N filter,Tornado,MSD coil packs,32LB Accell Injectors,a STS performance fuel rail,MALLORY 100PSI regulator,Autometer fuel gauge,and a Dyno-Jet performance chip.I have also put Mobile 1 Synthetic Trans fluid,and performance filters,in the trans. I only use full Snythetic motor oil,@ only K:N. oil filters,every 5000 KM. At 139,000 Km. I had TIME-CERTS installed,for those of you who know about them.I just bought some new wheels,and should have them next week.I bought series 36 Eagle rims 17" with Goodyear Eagle Response Edge tires,-235-55-17s. I hope they work like they claim. I plan to do more upgrades in the future,but thats it for now. AURORA-RAY.

Meggy- I've read somewhere on her about Lucas oil some swear by it, some think it's just snake oil, but I heard it does make it run cooler .. I'm personally looking into it

I have owned 4 Auroras. What a wonderful car. We have owned a 1996, '97, '99. My most recent and favorite Aurora is the most unusual - The 2001 IRL Pace Car - this was driven by Johnny Rutherford during the 2001 Indy Racing Season. Yes, the Indy 500 was paced by an '01 Bravada, yet this car had the pace car Duty for the remainder of the season. This was the car that handed off the Baton of pacing IRL races to the Chevy Corvette at the end of the season in Texas late in 2001. My wife and I were at the Chicagoland Motor speedway race on Sept 2, 2001. Country Singer Jodi Messina rode around the track with Johnny prior to the race. She had given a concert just prior to the race. It has been in the Journey With Olds, OCA club magazine, too.

I have a 2001 aurora 3.5 i was getting 29 to 30 mpg now its at 23 mpg changed injectors,plugs and it keep giving a theft system fault on display andasfar as codes it gives secondary air intake and misfires, can someone help me fix this problem.

1997-black on black, non autobahn, custom 2.5 in. exhaust w/ a glasspack, clear corners by collins (xjsman89), bixexon projectors w/ angel eyes, lit trunk panel, blue interior leds-many more mods to come. 2003-Final 500, bone stock, several mods to come.
