The Yonkers, NY, police department is attempting again, for about the 1,000,000th time, to surpress street racing on that town's major north/south road, Central Park Ave. When you consider the fact that Central Park Ave. is wide, flat, and straight (although with a lot of cross traffic in some places), it's easy to see that the YPD is actually trying to tell the tide not to come in! www.nyjournalnews.com/newsroom/081104/b0111dragsters.html_________________ GM!!! Its a very familiar story across both countries. Interestingly enough, when there are sanctioned events the police just wait for you and check for "illegal" items.
Drives me crazy.
