I just took the Aurora in to get the A/C fixed (again) and they just loaned me a 2004 SRX. Nice - lots of options - I didn't have the manual so I don't know what most of the buttons are for. I took the long way home. The Aurora is more comfortable though . . . . ;D

Cadillac SRX? Wow! the wimpy V6 or the V8 option? Yep, the Cadillac SRX - it has a few options, including the V8 Northstar, AWD and a DVD player for the people in the back.

Wow.! Make sure it gets "lost" heheh, I'm really liking the new Cadillac styling. The SRX seems a bit..umm, well, rich soccer mom style, but I'd be seen in one. Maybe get some pics if you could

This one is black - my wife thinks it looks a bit like a hearse. We just went for a little drive, about two hours. They didn't say how far I was allowed to go - just as long as I replace the gas. Nice driving, although I couldn't figure out the switches. I put the headlights on "auto" and left it at that, I couldn't find the fog light switch. I like the styling on the new Cadillacs too - especially the new STS.

Sadly the Sixteen will never be mass produced. The tires are so big and the wheel wells are so small you can only achieve 3.4 degrees turn in the tire. U-turns would be a disaster...lol 1000 hp in a straight line is nice however! Howard, lemme know when you get to test drive the new STS Apparently the new 5L50-E tranny is the "best" one GM has ever produced.

When I got the Aurora back I took a look in the showroom - mostly Chevs - the only Caddy they had in there was a convertible XLR. The only STS's they had on the lot seemed to be the "old" ones. Are the new ones in the showrooms yet? I haven't seen a real one, only pictures so far.
