Teh Sweeetness!! For a really clean look swap out the orange signals for regular clear 3157 bulbs, it will give the front end a much nicer look

ha! Heres the trick Silverstar headlamps, and regular 3157 clears...see the SS lights are legal and uber white, makes the turns look a bit yellowy orange You know what we mean

Loud: why would you mount the DVD screen there? that doesn't make any sense to me at all. Nobody in the car will get a good angle at the LCD but whoever is in the drivers seat. Where did you mount the headunit? on your sound domain it says you're hitting a 146. With just highs and mids and a DVD screen?

actually whoever make the silverstars makes them for turning signals too. they are clear when off and the when lit they glow amber........cool though..........but why pay 20 dollars for stupid turning lamps.

I got the same effect from el cheapo 3157NA bulbs, they glow yellowish, to appease the cops and when the signal is activated, they kinda look more whiteish. Its all a balance.
I was going to mention.
The benefit of having a monitor like that in the front with the dash console facing the driver is only useful for DVD nagivation or GPS system. Similar to the NavStar stock system that Olds developped for the 95 Aurora. It even had that cool I-Drive system almost 8 years before BMW introduced it on the redesigned 7 series.
If I was to ever put a monitor it would be centre console mounted to face the back, or ceiling mounted to face the back.
To each their own at the end of the day. I have a pic of the NavStar system! Want me to post it?

I'll stick with laptop and earthmate! It's much more functional anyway.

You can't beat the little compass in the rearview mirror. It's built to the car so no extra work is required!

If I had a laptop wired up in my car it would only be for AutoTap ;D
But that Guidestar looks like an impressive system.

Hey listen buddy, not everyone has a compass in their mirror! Oh… but mark my word if I’m not driving Autobahn(en), Compass Mirror Havin’, Bose system setup, Aurora by this fall…. My name’s not Amanda…. LoL way to build it up and let it down huh? (Oh yes, and the sun roof – a must!)
