Ok, I know, I know she who has not been posting has finally got something to say... LoL
On to more important matters...
I am really considering maybe trying to fix my car. For those of you who don't know my roommate had my car and ended up cracking it up pretty good (he really didn't mean to, after the initial shock I was able to see that) anyway there was no body damage (thank god!) but the frame got beat up pretty badly, the first inital fix we needed to replace the right wheel hub, rim, tie rods, axle... etc. the car still drove though what a trooper! the tires were pulling against one another since the right tire was sticking out of the car at 45 degree angle...
so that was that, and ever since then I have just been driving around in a car with a messed up frame.
The final verdict was it wasn't worth fixing it because it would be 200 + for a new subframe and 500 some odd $ for labor. My roomie would have paid but he didn't want to sink more money into the car since it has (as many do) an annoying idle problem... Well I excepted that and started hunting around for another car. Aurora of course! anyway now whenever I find one I get the reply it's not worth looking at since I don't have the money to buy another car. Which is true I don't have even $5000 to drop on another car. although now he is modifying the exhaust for sound purposes only! argh! so he'll have an evil sounding car and mine will just kind of put along until it's (look away it may get graphic) death...
SO what I was thinking, if i can nail down that idle problem (stop laughing!) then I could get him to fix the frame so it would be a whole car again.
